Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on Highway 25 in Greenville, the Furman Golf Club is one of the most challenging and well-maintained golf courses in the area. The Kris Spence Golf Design Group renovated the entire course in 2008.
The course was lengthened to almost 7000 yards from the back tees, greens were reshaped and replaced with Champion Bermuda grass. Greenside and fairway bunkers were added to the redesign. Spence has made a name for his restoration work on classic Donald Ross courses and the completed work at Furman is a solid traditional layout that will be a great test of your game.
