In 1997, Golf Magazine recognized Port Royal as a “Silver Medal Resort” for its three spectacular 18-hole golf courses, The Barony, Planter's Row, and Robber's Row. Created by the highly acclaimed Pete Dye, George W. Cobb and Willard Byrd respectively, the 54-holes of championship golf present a perfect blend of beauty and challenge. The Barony’s generous fairways and risk-reward approach to the greens are two features on this George Cobb designed course. Planter’s Row showcases rolling, tree-lined fairways in a park-like setting. Redesigned by world famous architect Pete Dye in 1994, Robber’s Row is cut through beautiful stands of magnolias and live oaks. Although tee-shot landing areas are quite generous, approach shots require accuracy to the well-bunkered greens.
