Terms and Conditions
The payment for a reservation of any package constitutes the customer’s acceptance of these Terms and General Conditions. Authorization to use a credit card for deposit and/or final payment also constitutes the customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, whether or not he/she has actually signed the appropriate credit voucher or sales draft. Verbal authorization of use of a credit card confirms a reservation. The customer shall be defined as any traveler on a golf package. The failure of Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC to insist upon the strict adherence to any term and/or condition herein shall not be construed or deemed to be a waiver by Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC of any of the terms and conditions herein.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A non refundable deposit of $50 per person is required to confirm reservations and must be paid no later than 14 days from booking. Deposit is due immediately if arrival is within 90 days of booking. The balance of the entire package is due and must be paid in good US funds no later than 21 days prior to arrival (30 days for Hilton Head, Charleston and Myrtle Beach bookings). Some Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Charleston and Masters Week bookings require full payment when booked; and have different cancellation policies, (see your invoice for details). Two payment options are available:
Group leader can collect payment from each individual and forward them to Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC.
Individual group members can mail a completed credit card authorization form, check, cashier’s check, or money order to Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC or fax credit card information provided on a Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC Credit Card Authorization Form or go to our secured payment page on our website www.GolfPackagesofSC.com and submit payment.
The preferred method is for the group leader to collect all funds and forward them to us, but we also understand many groups are spread throughout the country. If your group members send payment individually, please make sure they notify you so that you can keep track of who has and has not paid. Call in payments are subject to a $5 administrative fee.
Payments may be made by check drawn on a U.S. bank account, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier’s check, money order, or cash. All payments must be made in good U.S. funds. Make checks payable to Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC. $25 service fee for returned checks.
Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC understands that things come up and problems arise, therefore, there will be no charge for the 1st change to a golf package, however, there will be a $25 charge for each additional change. In addition, delivery charges may also apply when changes are received less than 8 days prior to arrival. Original travel documents, if previously sent to the customer, must be returned before new travel documents can be issued.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Package price less deposit is refundable; providing customer gives notification of cancellation to Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC no less than 30 days prior to arrival. If cancellation notice is received 30 days or less; customer may incur cancellation penalties up to no refund. Some Hilton Head, Charleston and Myrtle Beach properties have a no refund policy for cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival; Masters Week cancellations may have specific cancellation dates; refer to your confirmation packet invoice. Travel documents must be returned before any refunds will be issued. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a package once any part is used. No refunds will be issued for no shows. If package prices have been misprinted or misquoted, you will be offered the package at the correct price or you may cancel with a full refund. A timely cancellation within a group that causes a room to go from double to single occupancy: only the golf portion of the package will be refunded less deposit fees listed above, unless roommate or group leader makes payment arrangements for cancelled portion of room. No interest will be paid on any refunded funds. All refunds are subject to 10% admin fee. We suggest travel insurance.
Weather is not a guarantee. Should a golf course close due to inclement weather; refunds will be made according to each course’s particular refund policy. Refunds may be in the form of a rain check or voucher good for play at a later date or may be monetary; again dependant on each course’s policy. In the case of monetary refunds; the customer must obtain the signature of the course pro on the back of your Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC voucher along with “Monetary Refund”. Return the voucher to Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC within 30 days of scheduled play and a refund will be issued within 6-8 weeks. Courses that issue rain checks or vouchers; Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC will honor the rain check or voucher on future packages booked through Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC in accordance with the issuing course’s valid play dates.
SUBSTITUTION OF SERVICES
Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC reserves the right to cancel or modify any part of a package in its sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever with immediate notification to the customer. This includes the right to increase the price of the golf package due to an increase by the golf course, hotel or any other Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC supplier. Customer has the option to refuse these changes and cancel the trip without penalty. If comparable services or accommodations cannot be supplied due to causes beyond our control, there will be no liability or responsibility owed by Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC. In the event complete cancellation is required by Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC, our only liability will be to refund all monies paid without interest. Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC also reserves the right to alter the printed brochure prices and packages featured without notice and shall not be responsible for any inconvenience or expense incurred by such changes. By embarking upon his/her travel, the customer voluntarily assumes all risks.
Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC books lodging and golf course reservations and issues all vouchers for the customer only upon the express condition that Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC and its employees, officers, directors or any individual representatives shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, personal injury, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or which may be occasioned by acts, omissions or negligence of the persons or companies rendering any of the services.
Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC shall not be held responsible or liable for losses or additional expenses due to changes or delays in air, road, or other services, sickness, labor disputes, war or threat of war, weather or other causes. Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC shall not be liable for any additional expenses caused or damage to hotel or condo properties and the customer hereby expressly waives any such claim for loss, damage or injury arising. Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC cannot guarantee weather conditions nor can Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC be responsible for any shut down, in whole or in part of the operation of the facility (golf course, hotel or other supplier), whether they be caused by weather or for any other reason.
The customer must present a voucher to each golf course. Golf Packages of South Carolina, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for lost or misplaced vouchers. New vouchers will be issued to the customer for a charge of $25.
